From Mindspillage

I had just made a trip to a department store with my aunt. As we were loading our bags in the trunk, the young woman next to us was struggling to get a new television into her car. No matter how she tried, it was a few inches too large to fit through the doors. My aunt suggests securing it in the trunk with bungee cords, or attaching it to the roof, but neither of these work.

"Is it a gift for someone?" I ask. "If not, why not take it out of the box?"

She does, and it fits.
